The Divine Comedy

About

Conductor Michele De Luca
Dramaturgy and Acting Paolo Migone
Massimo Kids Orchestra

Paolo Migone explains that classical music is not something incomprehensible or particularly strange, but is first and foremost music.
So why not let ourselves be moved and involved by the music of the great composers? Migone guides us into a universe unknown to many, and he does it in his own way, with absolute originality, lots of irony and without any prejudice or pretentious snobbery. The show is engaging, entertaining, enriched by slides, and in the narration four of the most incredible musicians in the history of music are associated with the four elements: Vivaldi with the water, Bach with the earth, Mozart with the air, Beethoven with the fire, as if to emphasise the indispensability of music for humanity.

Tickets: from 10€ to 25€

This performance is in Italian. A basic knowledge of the language is advised.

The 6th edition of PIANO CITY PALERMO, the piano festival that transforms the city into a big stage, with talented artists from Sicily and all over the world, will be held from October 13th to October 15th.

Piano City Palermo returns to make the city resound with the sound of the piano and lands in Palermo for its sixth edition, thanks to the city’s generous welcome.

The festival, a co-production of the City of Palermo, the Teatro Massimo and the Piano City Milano association, is dedicated to the piano and ranges across musical genres, from classical to jazz, from pop to electronic. In these years of Palermo’s lively transformation, it brings music to the most sensitive, symbolic and significant places for the city’s social life. Concerts are free admission with compulsory booking. A big thank you to the pianists participating in the initiative and to the citizens, who are the true protagonists of this festival dedicated to Palermo!
