Arcobaleno

About

From 25 November to 12 December 2021
Coat of arms Room

The shape of color. Living tables

An interactive dance performance in which young spectators actively collaborate in the creation of the show, thanks to the use of colors and abstract painting. The show arises from the interaction between children and dancers, producing a unique and unrepeatable result each time. A work in progress, light, magical but above all experimental.
The children, inspired by the musical pieces, will see the colors they have chosen come to life through the bodies of the dancers and the abstract features they draw in real time on the canvas interpreted by a dance inspired by their emotional trajectories. The memory will be fueled by returning the canvas produced to the class, a work of art “signed” by the children and the Teatro Massimo Ballet Corps, in memory of the sensorial journey experienced together.

Project curated by Carmen Marcuccio and Annamaria Margozzi

Concept, direction and choreography
Carmen Marcuccio

Figurative and pictorial art
Benedetto Oliva

Ballet of the Teatro Massimo

The show is aimed at children aged 6 to 9 years.
