La sua finalità è duplice: creare uno spazio di residenza per i musicisti ucraini e valorizzare il ruolo della Musica e delle Arti nella costruzione della pace. Il progetto rappresenta una costola e un prolungamento del festival pianistico PianoCity Palermo ed è finanziato dal Ministero della Cultura.
Il Teatro Massimo ospita nel proprio Foyer, da ottobre a dicembre, i concerti di tre pianisti ucraini e in Sala Grande l’Orchestra del Teatro dell’Opera di Kharkiv.
L’ingresso è gratuito sino a esaurimento dei posti disponibili.
