Coppélia, or the archetypal story of the mechanical woman-doll and her inventor-demiurge. But in the direction and choreography of Amedeo Amodio, the show becomes a great cinematic creation where the scene is a set, the inventor-demiurge Coppelius is a director, the characters are all actors in a film in a sort of metatheatre.

Coppélia, ou la Fille aux Yeux d’Email (Coppélia o la ragazza dagli occhi di smalto) è il balletto in due atti che debutta mercoledì 17 giugno al Teatro Massimo di Palermo, con Anbeta Toromani e Alessandro Macario, Riccardo Riccio, Michela Viola, regista e coreografo Amedeo Amodio su musica composta da Léo Delibes, direttore Alessandro Ferrari, scene di Emanuele Luzzati e Luca Antonucci, costumi di Luisa Spinatelli, musiche della Balera orchestrate da Enrico Blatti, Orchestra e Corpo di Ballo del Teatro Massimo.
